The “Let’s Play” anime is set to premiere in October 2025. Crunchyroll will stream the anime worldwide, with the exception of Asia and parts of India and Southeast Asia.
The webcomic, created by Leeanne M. Krecic (also known as Mongie), was originally published digitally on WEBTOON from 2016 to 2022. After concluding its third season in September 2022, Mongie announced that the comic would no longer be updated on WEBTOON and is slated to return in Fall 2025 on an unspecified platform. The story follows Samara “Sam” Young, a Los Angeles-based game developer whose dreams are disrupted when a popular streamer gives her first video game, “Ruminate,” a harsh review. Complicating matters, Sam discovers the critic is her new neighbor.
