The official website for the Summer Pockets television anime released a new visual focusing on the Shiroha Naruse arc. This visual features Shiroha Naruse alongside the protagonist Hairi Takahara. Additionally, the anime’s sixth promotional video, which also highlights Shiroha Naruse, has been unveiled. Konomi Kohara, who voices Shiroha Naruse, is featured in this latest video. The 15th episode of the anime, airing on July 14, is set to initiate the “Shiroha Naruse arc” within the series. This episode’s synopsis describes Shiroha Naruse practicing swimming alone at night, where she encounters Hairi Takahara. Shiroha, who has maintained a solitary existence due to “certain circumstances,” develops an interest in Hairi as he unintentionally closes the distance between them. Hairi shares his forgotten memories of summer vacation, and as Shiroha listens, she recalls her own sparkling childhood summers.

The Summer Pockets TV anime is an adaptation of the visual novel developed by Key, known for titles like Kanon and Angel Beats. The anime premiered in Japan on April 7, 2025. Crunchyroll is streaming the series globally, including North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, Indian subcontinent, and Southeast Asia. The series is planned for two consecutive cours, comprising 26 episodes.
The story is set on Torishirojima, a tranquil and isolated island in the Seto Inland Sea. The protagonist, Hairi Takahara, travels to the island during his summer vacation to help manage his late grandmother’s belongings. Upon arriving, he encounters various mysterious girls, each pursuing something elusive. As he settles into island life, forgotten memories resurface, and he discovers what he believed was lost.
The main cast members from the visual novel are reprising their roles for the anime, with the exception of Tomomi Mineuchi, who previously voiced Kamome Kushima and has since been replaced by Nene Hieda. The cast includes Shoya Chiba as Hairi Takahara, Konomi Kohara as Shiroha Naruse, Natsumi Takamori as Ao Sorakado, Nene Hieda as Kamome Kushima, and Emiri Iwai as Tsumugi Wenders.
The anime’s staff includes Tomoki Kobayashi as director, Keiichiro Ochi handling series composition, and Mai Otsuka as character designer. Studio feel. is responsible for the animation production. In addition to the ongoing TV series, a schedule for four compilation films based on the anime has been announced. These films will be screened in 26 theaters across Japan, with specific arcs featuring Kamome Kushima, Tsumugi Wenders, Ao Sorakado, and Shiroha Naruse.
