- Yoshino Nanjo will voice Puririn, a character who made a cameo appearance in the January 26th episode of “Wonderful Precure!”. Nanjo is well-known for her roles in other popular anime, such as Eli Ayase in “Love Live! School Idol Project.”
- Miharu Hanai will portray Meroron. Hanai’s previous work includes voicing Kokoa in “Acro Trip.”
Puririn is depicted as easygoing, while Meroron is portrayed as mischievous. These fairies hail from Kira-Kira Land and journey to the human world in search of the legendary saviors, the Idol Precure.
Storyline Overview
“You and Idol Precure♪” unfolds in the vibrant town of Hanamichi, centering around Uta Sakura, a second-year middle school student with a passion for singing. One day, while walking her dog Kyū-chan, Uta discovers a giant peach-like object floating down the river. From this object emerges Purirun, a fairy who has come seeking the legendary Idol Precure.
Purirun reveals that her home, Kira-Kira Land, is under threat from the Chokkiri gang, led by the villainous Darkiine. As the “sparkle” of Hanamichi Town’s residents is stolen by the Chokkiri gang, Uta proclaims her desire to “sparkle with my song!” and transforms into Cure Idol.
