The upcoming anime adaptation of “From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman: My Hotshot Disciples Are All Grown Up Now, and They Won’t Leave Me Alone” has revealed its opening theme song will be performed by the renowned Japanese rock band, FLOW. The announcement has ignited excitement among fans of both the band and the light novel series, promising a high-energy start to the swords and sorcery adventure slated to premiere in April 2025.

“From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman” tells the story of Beryl Gardinant, a humble old sword instructor in a rural village.
