Episode 7 of I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I’ll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time sees Alina finally getting to enjoy the Centennial Festival, but a new threat emerges in the form of dark gods, and Lululee confronts her past. The episode, titled “Since It’s the Long-awaited Centennial Festival, I’ll Definitely Enjoy It to the Fullest,” premiered on February 21st, 2025, for most overseas audiences.

Alina and Jade’s Festival Date

The episode kicks off with Alina and Jade attending the Centennial Festival together, fulfilling Alina’s agreement to a date with him. The festival is depicted as a lively event with numerous food stalls. Alina’s enjoyment of the festival is a highlight, showcasing a fun side of her rarely seen due to her constant overtime work. Jade seems impressed and perhaps a little overwhelmed by her capacity for enjoying the festival and its food. They hold hands, marking a significant moment in their relationship.

Lululee’s Troubled Past

Parallel to the festival fun, Lululee’s storyline delves deeper into her past. She visits Aiden, her former teammate, in prison, accompanied by Lowe. Aiden blames Lululee for the deaths of their party members and vows revenge. This encounter highlights Lululee’s emotional struggle and her attempts to come to terms with her past. Later, Aiden is broken out of prison by Heitz, suggesting a looming threat connected to Lululee’s history.

Dark Gods and Secret Quests

A new secret quest is introduced, hinting at a larger conflict involving dark gods. The episode reveals that Glen was approached by Jessica of the Information Broker’s Guild, who offered him a book containing a Secret Quest. This quest and the emergence of dark gods are poised to become a major storyline. While the dungeon setting in this episode has drawn some criticism for resembling previous locations, it sets the stage for future battles and challenges.

Episode 7: Key Takeaways

  • Festival Fun: Alina and Jade’s date at the Centennial Festival provides lighthearted moments and deepens their relationship.
  • Lululee’s Struggle: Lululee’s past continues to haunt her as she confronts Aiden and his desire for revenge.
  • New Threat: The introduction of dark gods and a secret quest hints at a more significant conflict on the horizon.
