Story Synopsis
Rock Is a Lady’s Modesty follows Lilisa Suzunomiya, a young girl who becomes the daughter of a real estate tycoon after her mother’s remarriage. To meet her mother’s expectations, she suppresses her true feelings and abandons her beloved guitar and rock music to live as a proper lady. However, her passion for rock is rekindled when she encounters Otoha Kurogane, a skilled drummer attending the same prestigious all-girls’ school. Together, they form a band and challenge the norms of the academy while staying true to themselves.
Manga Background
The anime is based on the manga series of the same name by Hiroshi Fukuda, which has been serialized in Hakusensha’s seinen manga magazine Young Animal since October 2022. As of March 6, 2025, six volumes have been released, with the seventh volume scheduled for release on March 28, 2025.
