The final season of the popular anime Fire Force is set to premiere with a brand new ending theme performed by the Osaka-based hip-hop group Umeda Cypher. This announcement arrives alongside the reveal of two new cast members, promising a fiery conclusion to the series. The first part of the final season will premiere on April 4, 2025, with the second part scheduled for January 2026.

“UruSiren”: Umeda Cypher’s Fiery Contribution

Umeda Cypher will perform the ending theme song “Urusiren” for the anime’s first cours (quarter of a year). Crunchyroll describes “UruSiren” as a portmanteau of “urusai (loud)” and “siren,” capturing the essence of a firetruck siren’s sound, and a fitting theme for the anime. Take-M, a member of Umeda Cypher, stated that the group’s creativity was inspired by the Fire Force series and that “Umeda Cypher will deliver a ‘Time Has Come’ number that overlaps with our feelings as we head to the stage.”.

Who is Umeda Cypher?

Umeda Cypher is a hip-hop group that originated from freestyle sessions held in Umeda, Osaka. Formed in 2007 by Funk, Yorozu, and Akirmen, the group has become a staple in the underground hip-hop scene. The group includes an impressive roster of rappers and DJs such as founding member KZ and Funk, Kopreu, renowned battler R-Shitei, Japidiot’s TAKE-M, tella & teppei, as well as DJ SPI-K just to name a few. They gained mainstream recognition after performing on The First Take, a YouTube channel by Sony Music Japan showcasing artists in one-take live sets.

New Cast Members Join the Ranks

In addition to the ending theme announcement, two new voice actors have joined the cast of Fire Force Season 3:

  • Yōko Hikasa as Gold
  • Masaki Aizawa as Dragon

Gold is one of the “Destroyers,” tasked with eliminating opposition to the Evangelist’s faction. She can manipulate metal by converting thermal energy into magnetism through her golden gauntlets. Dragon is a giant with immense offensive and defensive power and the ability to turn people into Infernals at will. Additionally, he can harden parts of his body into a black, Infernal-like material and even transform into a dragon.

Fire Force Season 3: The Final Chapter

The Fire Force anime series, adapted from Atsushi Ohkubo’s manga, is heading towards its conclusion with Season 3. The final season will be split into two cours, with the first premiering on April 4, 2025, and the second in January 2026.

Production Staff

Tatsuma Minamikawa returns as director, with Sei Tsuguta handling series composition. Hideyuki Morioka is once again providing character designs. Queen Bee will perform the first cours opening theme song “High Flame.”

Where to Watch

Crunchyroll will stream the anime in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS. Netflix will exclusively stream the anime in Japan, with each episode debuting after the TV broadcast.

About Fire Force

Fire Force is set in a world where people spontaneously combust and become Infernals. Special Fire Force teams are tasked with combating this phenomenon. The story follows Shinra Kusakabe, a young man with the ability to ignite his feet, as he joins Special Fire Force Company 8. The manga series was serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine from September 2015 to February 2022. By May 2022, the Fire Force manga had over 20 million copies in circulation.
