The highly anticipated return of the One Piece anime is just around the corner! Crunchyroll has announced that it will simulcast new episodes of the legendary anime series starting April 6, 2025. This marks the continuation of the “Egghead” arc, promising fans more thrilling adventures of the Straw Hat Pirates.

“Egghead Arc” Part 2 Set to Stream on Crunchyroll

After a production break that began in October 2024, One Piece is gearing up for a big spring season. The anime series will resume its Japanese broadcast in April, and Crunchyroll will stream new English-subtitled episodes simultaneously, starting April 6, 2025. This continuation of the “Egghead Arc” is welcome news for fans eager to see where Monkey D. Luffy’s journey takes him next.

Simulcast Territories

The simulcast of “Egghead Part-2” on Crunchyroll will be available in the following territories:

  • United States
  • Canada
  • Australia
  • New Zealand
  • South Africa
  • Latin America

English Dub Episodes Arriving in March

In addition to the simulcast announcement, Crunchyroll has revealed that a new batch of English-dubbed episodes will be available in March. Specifically, Season 15 Voyage 3 (Episodes 1109-1122), along with three specials (14, 15, and 16), will begin streaming on March 18, 2025.

These English dub episodes and specials will be available in the following territories:

  • United States
  • Canada
  • LATAM (Latin America)
  • Australia
  • New Zealand
  • South Africa
  • India
  • Southeast Asia

This release is particularly significant as it brings the English dub closer to the subbed version of One Piece.

Where to Watch One Piece

One Piece can be streamed on both Netflix and Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll describes the series as:

Monkey D. Luffy refuses to let anyone or anything stand in the way of his quest to become King of the Pirates. With his rubber-like stretching powers granted by the supernatural Devil Fruit, the spirited young pirate seeks the legendary treasure known as the One Piece. He’ll chart a course for the treacherous waters of the Grand Line and recruit a motley crew to build his Straw Hat Pirates one bond at a time. This is one captain who’ll never drop anchor until he and his friends all reach their dreams!

A Brief Hiatus and a Remastered Return

The One Piece anime took a six-month hiatus after October 13, 2024. In place of the new episodes, a remastered version of the “Fish-Man Island” arc aired with updated visuals.

Broadcast Time Change

Alongside the return of the “Egghead” arc, there’s a change in the Japanese broadcast schedule. One Piece will now air new episodes at 11:15 PM in Japan on Fuji TV.

One Piece: A Global Phenomenon

One Piece, created by Eiichiro Oda, has captivated audiences for 25 years. The series follows Monkey D. Luffy and his crew as they search for the treasure of the King of the Pirates, Gol D. Roger. New manga chapters are published in Weekly Shōnen Jump, with English versions available on Viz.com.
