The upcoming anime adaptation of Yoshimi Sato’s Kakushite! Makina-san!! has revealed its ending theme song artist and premiere date. The series, a risqué romantic comedy about a high schooler and a sexaroid robot, is set to debut on April 6, 2025, with the ending theme performed by Brave Mental Orchestra.

“Android ni Kubittake” to Feature as Ending Theme

The official website for the Kakushite! Makina-san!! television anime announced that the ending theme song, titled “Android ni Kubittake” (Crazy About an Android), will be performed by the girl group Brave Mental Orchestra. This upbeat tune is expected to add a lively touch to the end of each episode.

Premiere Date and Broadcast Details

The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 6, 2025, on the Tokyo MX channel at 25:20 JST (effectively, April 7 at 1:20 a.m. JST, or April 6 at 12:20 p.m. EDT).

  • “Hidden” Version: The broadcast version will air on Tokyo MX and will also be available on AnimeFesta, DMM TV, and other services.
  • “Unhidden” Version: A “deregulated version” will stream on WWWave Corporation’s AnimeFesta site, offering a less censored viewing experience.
  • BS Fuji Channel: The anime will also begin airing on the BS Fuji channel starting April 9, 2025.

Story Overview

Kakushite! Makina-san!! centers on Eita, an introverted high school student and mecha enthusiast with a crush on Makina, the most popular girl in school. Eita’s life takes an unexpected turn when he discovers Makina’s secret: she is a “sexaroid” robot designed for pleasure. Makina enlists Eita’s help to discreetly repair her, leading to a series of humorous and awkward situations as Eita struggles to conceal her true identity and navigate her advances.

Manga Origins

The Kakushite! Makina-san!! manga, written and illustrated by Yoshimi Sato, began serialization in Futabasha’s Monthly Action magazine in October 2022. After the magazine’s discontinuation in February 2024, the series moved to the Web Comic Action website in April of the same year. The manga’s fourth compiled book volume was released in December 2024.

A Risqué Romantic Comedy

Kakushite! Makina-san!! promises to deliver a blend of humor, romance, and risqué situations as Eita attempts to help Makina maintain her secret while grappling with his own feelings. With the announcement of the ending theme song and the premiere date, fans can look forward to the anime’s debut in April 2025. The opening theme song, “Ie de Yeah! tte Age Tiger,” will be performed by Serena Kōzuki.
