“My Happy Marriage” season 2 continues to deliver captivating twists and emotional moments, with episode 10 leaving fans reeling. Miyo’s journey of self-discovery deepens as she confronts her past and awakens her Dream-Sight ability, while Kiyoka faces new challenges and is apprehended by the military due to Usui’s schemes.

Kiyoka’s Confession and Apprehension

Despite being covered in blood, Kiyoka Kudo confesses his love for Miyo Saimori. However, Naoshi Usui’s scheme leads to Kiyoka’s capture by the military. Overcome with guilt, Miyo believes she has caused Kiyoka’s suffering and resolves to face Usui alone.

Miyo’s Path and Kiyoka’s Shikigami

As Miyo embarks on her solitary path, a boy-like figure appears, revealed to be Kiyoka’s shikigami (familiar). The shikigami, affectionately called Kiyo-kun, stops her and suggests she visit a certain person. He’s there to support her while Kiyoka is imprisoned.

Miyo’s Usuba Blood and Dream-Sight

Season 2 delves into the mystery surrounding Miyo’s “Usuba Blood,” testing the couple’s love and resilience as they face new challenges. Miyo learns about Usui’s past and his connection to her mother from Yoshirou, who provides a book to help her understand Dream-Sight. Through visions of her mother, Miyo discovers Usui’s motives and fully awakens her Dream-Sight, determined to confront him.

Usui’s Connection to Sumi Usuba

Everything about Naoshi Usui seems to return to Sumi Usuba, or at least, that’s what he wants to think. Miyo’s grandfather reveals that the truth is rooted in trauma, stemming from the murder of his parents before his eyes, which led him to unconsciously activate his powers and kill the murderers.

Arata’s Betrayal

Arata’s decision to betray Miyo and Kiyoka takes on a tragic air. He tells Usui’s minion that he’s doing it for Miyo specifically so that she can become the Maiden of Dream-Sight the Usuba family has been waiting for. He was supposed to be Miyo’s husband and protector until Kiyoka took her away.

Miyo’s Resolve

Miyo doesn’t need someone to look after her. Usui’s actions have pushed Miyo into learning to stand up for herself and protect the people she loves. Miyo chooses the one pure motive that remains and will do her best to repay Kiyoka, Hazuki, Yurie, and Sumi in kind.

Episode 11: Miyo to Face Naoshi

With her abilities awakened, Miyo will likely attempt to save Kiyoka. Her new abilities may make her a target of Naoshi Usui. Episode 11 of “My Happy Marriage” season two is coming to Netflix on March 17, 2025. The anime will be wrapping up its second season in just two more episodes.

The Military’s Response

The episode will likely focus on the military’s response to the Gifted Communion’s threat and whether they can resist its influence.

The Usuba Family’s Past

Most of the Usuba family members have gone through unspeakable things. Their psychic gifts served as double-edged swords, all because other nobles are desperate to possess the Usuba’s unique abilities. In an alternate universe, Sumi may have been with Naoshi instead. They were raised together and grew fond of each other over time. Despite having killed two people in rage for the death of his parents, Naoshi found a different purpose by caring for Sumi. Naoshi was devastated upon hearing the news of her death.
