The upcoming anime adaptation of Fehu Kazuno’s “Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra: World Conquest Starts with the Civilization of Ruin” is set to premiere in July 2025. A new teaser promotional video and key visual were unveiled, revealing additional cast members and the staff involved in the Maho Film production.
New Cast Members Join the Apocalypse
The latest announcements expand the cast, adding to the already revealed main characters:
- Kaori Maeda (roles include Eliza in Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town)
- Kanon Takao (roles include Noel in Celestial Method) join the cast.
These new additions join the previously announced main cast:
- Toshiki Kumagai as Takuto Ira
- Tomori Kusunoki as Sludge Witch Atou
- Kikuko Inoue as Isla, Queen of Bugs
- Riko Sasaki as Emle

“Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra” Story Synopsis
“Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra: World Conquest Starts with the Civilization of Ruin” follows Takuto Ira, a young man who spent his days consumed by the nation management strategy game Eternal Nations while battling a terminal illness. After succumbing to his disease, Takuto finds himself reincarnated into the world of the game as the leader of the “evil” civilization, Mynoghra. Alongside Atou, his loyal hero unit, Takuto embarks on a journey to conquer the world, one settlement at a time.
From Light Novel to Anime: The Journey of “Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra”
The series began as a web novel penned by Fefu Kazuno on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let’s Become Novelists) website in November 2017. Micro Magazine picked up the series, publishing it as a light novel with illustrations by Jun, starting in November 2019. As of June 2024, seven volumes have been released.
The series also inspired a manga adaptation illustrated by Yasaiko Midorihana, which began serialization on Kadokawa’s ComicWalker manga website in March 2020. Yen Press licensed the manga for English release, with the third volume slated for release on April 22, 2025. Cross Infinite World handles the digital publication of the light novel in English, describing the story as “I Reincarnated As The Evil God Of My Favorite Civilization”.
