The upcoming anime Rock is a Lady’s Modesty has unveiled a brand new character video and visual spotlighting Tamaki Shiroya. The music drama anime series is scheduled to premiere on April 3, 2025, and will be streamed on HIDIVE simultaneously with its Japanese broadcast.

The new character trailer and “character gap” visual showcase the refined and retuned sides of bassist Tamaki Shiraya, who is voiced by Natsumi Fujiwara, also known for her role as Damian in SPY x FAMILY.

Rock is a Lady’s Modesty is directed by Shinya Watada at BN Pictures. Shogo Yasukawa is in charge of the series composition, while Risa Miyadani is responsible for the character designs. The music is composed by Elements Garden.
Storyline Overview
Rock is a Lady’s Modesty, based on the manga series by Hiroshi Fukuda, which has been serialized in Young Animal (Hakusensha) since October 2022, tells the story of Lilisa Suzunomiya. Lilisa is forced to abandon her guitar and passion for rock music to live a constrained life as a “proper lady” after her mother remarries a real estate tycoon. However, when she meets Otoha Kurogane, a virtuoso drummer at her new prestigious all-girls school, her passion for rock is reignited, and they embark on a journey into band activities.
