Fans of the popular anime series “My Happy Marriage” will have to wait a bit longer for the next installment. Episode 25, which is episode 12 of the anime’s second season, has been delayed due to production issues and is now scheduled to air on March 31st.
Production Issues Cause Delay
The announcement of the delay cites “production circumstances” as the reason for the schedule change. Originally slated for release on March 24th, the episode’s premiere in Japan has been pushed back by a week.
Updated Streaming Schedule
While the Japanese broadcast is confirmed for March 31st, the updated streaming schedule on services like Netflix is still pending. According to the official Japanese announcement, Episode 12 is planned to arrive on streaming services, including Netflix, starting on March 31 at 10:30 PM JST. Outside of Japan, however, it is currently unknown when the episode will become available, with the official statements from Netflix and KADOKAWA saying that the schedule will be revealed “as soon as it is confirmed.”
“My Happy Marriage” Overview
“My Happy Marriage” is based on the light novel series of the same name, written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka. The story follows Miyo Saimori, a young woman born without supernatural abilities into a noble family known for them. She faces mistreatment from her stepmother and is eventually forced into an arranged marriage with Kiyoka Kudou, a military commander rumored to be cold and cruel.
However, Miyo discovers that Kiyoka is not the monster she expected, and as they slowly open their hearts to each other, they find the potential for true love and happiness.

The first season of the “My Happy Marriage” anime premiered in 2023, with an OVA (Original Video Animation) released in November 2024, bridging the gap between seasons. The light novel series began publication in January 2019 and has eight volumes as of March 2024. In addition to the anime, there is also a manga adaptation drawn by Rito Kosaka, and a live-action movie adaptation.
