The upcoming anime adaptation of Matsuri Isora’s “Silent Witch: The Secret Escapades of the Silent Witch” continues to build anticipation with the announcement of a new cast member. Kanna Nakamura will be lending her voice to the character of Lana Colette, Monica Everett’s first friend. This reveal was made by Aniplex, who is releasing new cast information every Saturday leading up to the anime’s premiere.
A New Addition to the Cast
Kanna Nakamura’s role as Lana Colette marks a significant addition to the ensemble cast. Lana is Monica’s first friend, suggesting she will play a vital role in the protagonist’s journey. The cast also includes:

About Silent Witch
“Silent Witch” originated as a light novel series written by Matsuri Isora and illustrated by Nanna Fujimi. It debuted on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let’s Become Novelists) website in February 2020. Kadokawa began publishing the light novels in June 2021, and as of February 10, 2025, nine volumes have been released. A tenth volume is planned for release this summer.
Story
Monica Everett, the Silent Witch, is renowned as the world’s only practitioner of Voiceless Magic. She is celebrated as a heroine for single-handedly defeating a legendary Black Dragon. However, Monica is extremely shy and developed her unique magical ability to avoid speaking in public. Despite her introverted nature, the Seven Sages task her with a top-secret mission: to guard the Second Prince.
