“City: The Animation” Welcomes Jun Fukuyama to the Cast

The upcoming anime adaptation of Keiichi Arawi’s manga, “CITY The Animation,” has announced that Jun Fukuyama will be joining its cast. This announcement was made on April 28, 2025, as part of the weekly cast reveals. Fukuyama will voice the character of Nobuteru Tekaridake, the head of Mont Blanc University’s Tekaridake Theater Group.

About Jun Fukuyama

Jun Fukuyama is a well-known and prolific Japanese voice actor with an extensive career in anime, video games, and other media. Born on November 26, 1978, in Fukuyama, Japan, he has become one of the most recognizable voices in the industry. Some of his most famous roles include:

  • Koro-sensei in “Assassination Classroom”

“CITY The Animation” is based on the manga series by Keiichi Arawi, the creator of “Nichijou.” The anime is set to premiere on July 6, 2025, on Tokyo MX, followed by broadcasts on ABC TV, TV Aichi, and BS11.
