The upcoming anime adaptation of Matsuri Isora’s light novel series, Silent Witch: The Secret of the Silent Witch, continues to expand its cast, with the latest addition being M.A.O as the voice of Rynzbelfeid. This announcement adds to the excitement surrounding the series, which is scheduled to premiere in July 2025.

Production Details
Silent Witch: The Secret of the Silent Witch is being animated by Studio Gokumi, with Takaomi Kanasaki serving as chief director and in charge of series composition. Yasuo Iwamoto is directing, Cona Nitanda is designing the characters, and Rina Tayama and Cygames are composing the music. The series is based on the light novels written by Matsuri Isora and illustrated by Nanna Fujimi.

Story Synopsis
Silent Witch: The Secret of the Silent Witch follows Monica Everett, the only mage in the world who can use unchanted magic. She is a hero who defeated a legendary black dragon. However, Monica is extremely shy and learned to cast spells silently to avoid speaking in public. Despite her social anxiety, the Seven Sages task her with secretly guarding the Second Prince. The story explores whether Monica can overcome her shyness while protecting the prince from various threats.
Yen Press publishes the English version of the light novels and the manga adaptation.
