‘Tsuyokute New Saga’ Anime Adds Cast & Theme Artists!

The upcoming Tsuyokute New Saga anime has revealed exciting updates, including new cast members and the artists behind the theme songs. Fans can look forward to the series premiering in July 2025 on Tokyo MX and ABC channels. Let’s dive into the details!

New Cast Members Announced

Two new cast members have been revealed, adding to the already stellar lineup:

  • Takehito Koyasu as Ganias: Koyasu is a veteran voice actor known for his roles in numerous popular anime.
  • Yōko Hikasa as Yūriga: Hikasa is another well-known voice actress with a wide range of roles in various anime series.

He replaces the previously announced director Norikazu Ishigooka and animation studios Makaria and Yokohama Animation Lab.

About Tsuyokute New Saga

Tsuyokute New Saga is based on a light novel series written by Masayuki Abe and illustrated by Ryūta Fuse. The story follows Kyle, a skilled swordsman who defeats the Demon Lord but is sent back in time, using his knowledge to become stronger and avoid past mistakes.

The anime was initially scheduled for July 2023 but faced delays due to various circumstances. Now, it is set to premiere in July 2025, much to the anticipation of fans. The series is being produced by Sotsu, with character designs by Atsushi Asahi and music composed by Shachō of Soil & “Pimp” Sessions and Hironori Anazawa.

Plot Overview

After a fierce battle, Kyle, a magic swordsman, defeats the Demon Lord but is critically injured. Near death, he uses a relic to travel back in time. Kyle decides to use this second chance to correct his past mistakes and become even stronger.

Light Novel and Manga

The light novel series was serialized online from May 2012 to June 2018 on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website. AlphaPolis published ten volumes between April 2013 and July 2018. A manga adaptation by Jun Miura was serialized online via AlphaPolis’ manga website from February 2014 to July 2023, with ten tankōbon volumes.
