The “My Hero Academia: Vigilantes” anime has announced the addition of four new cast members, including the idol duo FeatherS. The anime series, which began broadcasting in Japan on April 7, 2025, is currently running for 13 episodes.

- Sayumi Suzushiro as Yu (FeatherS)
- Masumi Tazawa as Captain of the East Naruhata High Dance Squad
- Yuki Shin as Leader of the Mad Hatters rock band
Ayana Taketatsu is known for her role as Kei Karuizawa in “Classroom of the Elite,” while Sayumi Suzushiro is known for voicing Uruka Takemoto in “We Never Learn: BOKUBEN.” Masumi Tazawa has voiced Auris in “Kizuna no Allele,” and Yuki Shin is known for their role as Takemichi Hanagaki in “Tokyo Revengers.”
These new characters will debut starting in Episode 11, which is scheduled to air on June 16, 2025.

About My Hero Academia: Vigilantes
“My Hero Academia: Vigilantes” is a spin-off manga series written by Hideyuki Furuhashi and illustrated by Betten Court. It serves as both a spin-off and a prequel to Kōhei Horikoshi’s main “My Hero Academia” series. The manga was first published in Jump GIGA in August 2016 before being transferred to Shonen Jump+ later that year. The series concluded in May 2022 and spans 15 collected volumes.
The anime adaptation is directed by Kenichi Suzuki at Bones Film, with Yosuke Kuroda handling series composition, Takahiko Yoshida designing the characters, and Yuki Hayashi, Shogo Yamashiro, and Yuki Furuhashi composing the music.
Story
“My Hero Academia: Vigilantes” takes place five years before the events of the main series. The story follows Koichi Haimawari, a young man who uses his Quirk to help others despite not being a licensed Hero. He teams up with the vigilante Knuckleduster and a street performer named Kazuho Haneyama (Pop Step) to fight crime in their city.
