Story Synopsis: When Solo Meets Solo

Solo Camping for Two tells the story of Gen Kinokura, a 34-year-old who cherishes his solitary camping trips as a way to reconnect with nature and escape the hustle of daily life. His peaceful routine is disrupted when he encounters Shizuku Kusano, a 20-year-old with zero camping experience. Despite Gen’s initial reluctance, the two end up “solo camping” together, leading to unexpected adventures and personal growth for both of them.

  • Gen Kinokura: Voiced by Daiki Hamano, Gen is a seasoned solo camper who values his alone time in nature. He is initially put off by Shizuku’s inexperience but gradually warms up to her.
  • Shizuku Kusano: Voiced by Mizuki Niizaki, Shizuku is a complete beginner when it comes to camping. Eager to learn, she seeks out Gen’s guidance and brings a fresh perspective to his solo adventures.
  • Akihito Takigawa: Voiced by Yōhei Azakami, Akihito is Gen’s friend from high school.
  • Saya Ozora: Voiced by Saya Aizawa.
