The upcoming anime adaptation of Shinichirō Nariie’s manga, See You Tomorrow at the Food Court, has just released its second promotional video, and fans are buzzing! The latest trailer not only gives us another glimpse into the charming world of Wada and Yamamoto but also unveils the ending theme song, “Tonari Awase” (Side by Side). Here’s everything you need to know.

A Taste of What’s to Come

The second promotional video, released on Friday, June 20, 2025, offers a delightful preview of the anime, highlighting the easygoing friendship between the two main characters. Wada, voiced by Hiyori Miyazaki, and Yamamoto, voiced by Yoshino Aoyama, bring to life the unlikely duo who find solace and companionship in their daily food court meetings.

“Tonari Awase”: A Song of Friendship

Adding to the excitement, the trailer reveals and previews the ending theme song, “Tonari Awase,” performed by none other than the main cast members, Hiyori Miyazaki and Yoshino Aoyama. The song promises to be a sweet and emotional complement to the anime’s themes of friendship and self-discovery.

Premiere Date and Where to Watch

Mark your calendars! See You Tomorrow at the Food Court is set to premiere on July 7, 2025, on Tokyo MX at 10:30 p.m. JST. Following its debut, the anime will also air on other networks, including AT-X, TV Aichi, TBC Tohoku Broadcasting, BS Nippon TV, and KBS Kyoto. For viewers in Japan, the series will also be available on ABEMA and other distribution sites.

International fans can rejoice as Crunchyroll has licensed the series for streaming. While a specific debut date on Crunchyroll hasn’t been announced yet, it’s expected to be soon after the Japanese premiere.

“Wada is an honor student who keeps to herself and has an air of mystery around her. Yamamoto is an intimidating fashionista with dyed blond hair and a shortened skirt. Though this unlikely duo seem to have nothing in common, it’s only during their daily meetings at the food court that they can be themselves!”
