Initial Glimpse: First Three Minutes Released
Aniplex recently presented the first three minutes of the Silent Witch anime during a special livestream event. This early release allows viewers to experience the animation style and initial narrative beats. An “opening video” for the series has also been made public. The anime is slated to premiere on July 4, with Studio Gokumi handling the animation.
New Additions to the Voice Cast
The voice cast continues to expand with the announcement of Ai Kayano joining as Claudia. Claudia is characterized as a second-year Serendia Academy student, known for being a “walking library” from a family of esteemed intellectuals.
Earlier cast revelations included Hina Suguta as Casey Grove and Shunichi Toki as an as-yet-unnamed mysterious character. Yoko Hikasa was previously announced to voice Bridget Greyham, the Serendia Academy student council’s clerk. Additionally, Kanna Nakamura is cast as Lana Colette, Monica’s best friend, and Ryōhei Kimura takes on the role of Elliott Howard, the Serendia Academy student council’s secretary.
Opening Theme Song Details
The alternative rock band Hitsujibungaku will perform the anime’s opening theme song, titled “feels.” This track is scheduled to begin streaming in Japan on July 4. Hitsujibungaku is also responsible for the ending theme song, “mild days.”
