The television anime adaptation of Kōsuke Unagi’s light novel series, I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths! (A-Rank Party o Ridatsu Shita Ore wa, Moto Oshiego-tachi to Meikyū Shinbu o Mezasu.), has officially been renewed for a second season. The announcement followed the broadcast of the first season’s 24th and final episode on June 28, 2025.
The first season, animated by Bandai Namco Pictures, premiered on January 12, 2025, and ran for two consecutive cours. While the initial season has concluded, fans can anticipate more adventures with Yuke and his students. A special visual by character designer Masakazu Yamazaki was released to commemorate the second season’s confirmation.
Further details regarding the second season’s broadcast date and other specifics are yet to be unveiled. The anime is streamed by Crunchyroll, which also offers an English dub. The series follows Yuke, a red mage who departs from his A-rank party, Thunder Pike, due to underappreciation. He then reunites with his former students, Marina, Silk, and Rain, and joins their fledgling D-ranked party, Clover, guiding them through perilous quests and fostering their growth. The narrative sees Clover gaining recognition through an “adventure broadcast” via an artifact known as Camelot, leading them into a larger conflict that threatens their world as they strive to conquer the challenging Achromatic Darkness dungeon.
