Role and Character Details
Uchiyama’s character, Shao (also transliterated as Xiao), is an assassin who finds himself severely injured after a betrayal during what was intended to be his final mission. This role promises to deliver a dramatic opening for the series, highlighting the unique and often intense narratives of the hotel’s clientele.
About Hotel Inhumans
The Hotel Inhumans anime is an adaptation of Ao Tajima’s original manga series. The story centers on a clandestine hotel that caters specifically to assassins and other figures operating in the criminal underworld. Far from a typical lodging, this establishment provides specialized services beyond fine dining and comfort, including access to advanced weaponry, secure identity falsification, and impeccable body disposal services. The hotel operates under a strict “never say no” policy, ensuring that every desire of its “inhuman” guests is met.
The series promises a “striking killing-hotel drama,” exploring the complex desires and relationships of individuals living on the edge of life and death.
Production and Main Cast
Studio Bridge, known for its work on titles such as Talentless Nana, is handling the animation production for Hotel Inhumans. The anime is directed by Tetsuro Amino, with Shoji Yonemura overseeing the series composition and Shingo Fujisaki designing the characters. The music is composed by Koharu of CHARAN-PO-RANTAN.
The previously announced main cast members include Yusuke Kobayashi as Ikuro Hoshi, a new concierge who is reportedly uncomfortable with killing and blood, and Hinano Shirahama as Sara Haizaki, the cool-headed senior concierge. These two concierges are central to the hotel’s operations, attending to the unique and often dangerous needs of their clientele.
Premiere and Broadcasting
Hotel Inhumans is slated to premiere on July 6, 2025, on TV Tokyo and its affiliates. It will also be available for streaming on Crunchyroll. The opening theme song for the anime is “Mister Moonlight” by imase, while the ending theme is “Merry Go Round” by NOA.
