The popular television anime series, I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths!, has officially been greenlit for a second season. The announcement came swiftly after the conclusion of its extensive first season, which aired its 24th and final episode on June 29, 2025.
The anime, animated by BN Pictures, captivated audiences with its fantasy-adventure narrative across two consecutive cours. The first season premiered in Japan on January 12, 2025, and followed the journey of Yuke Feldio, a red mage who, fed up with the lack of appreciation from his A-rank party, Thunder Pike, decides to leave. He subsequently forms a new party, “Clover,” with his former students: Marina, Silk, and Rain. The series explores their adventures as Yuke guides them in developing their abilities and tackling dungeons, ultimately becoming embroiled in a larger conflict that threatens their world.
I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths! is adapted from the light novel series penned by Kosuke Unagi and illustrated by Super Zombie. The light novel series concluded on February 28, 2025, with a total of five volumes published. Prior to its light novel publication, it began as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro platform in October 2020. A manga adaptation by Yuri has also been serialized since June 2021. Crunchyroll currently streams the first season and an English dub for North American audiences. Further details regarding the production and release of the second season are anticipated.
