Crunchyroll has officially announced that it will stream the highly anticipated fourth season of Mr. Osomatsu, the second season of Puniru is a Kawaii Slime, and the new anime adaptation of Tougen Anki. These titles are part of Crunchyroll’s Summer 2025 anime lineup, adding to an expansive catalog for the season.
Mr. Osomatsu Season 4 Set for July 8 Premiere
The fourth season of Mr. Osomatsu, which continues the chaotic lives of the Matsuno sextuplets as unemployed and mischievous adults, is scheduled to debut on Crunchyroll on July 8 at 10:00 a.m. PDT. This season will be available for streaming in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and the CIS.
The main cast members, including Takahiro Sakurai as Osomatsu, Yūichi Nakamura as Karamatsu, Hiroshi Kamiya as Choromatsu, Jun Fukuyama as Ichimatsu, Daisuke Ono as Jūshimatsu, and Miyu Irino as Todomatsu, are all reprising their roles. Yoshinori Odaka, who previously directed episodes in the first and third seasons and the Osomatsu-san ~Hipipo-Zoku to Kagayaku Kajitsu~ film, is directing the fourth season at Pierrot Films. Shū Matsubara is once again in charge of series scripts, and Eiji Abiko is handling character designs. Inspired by Fujio Akatsuka’s original Osomatsu-kun manga, the Mr. Osomatsu anime reimagines the sextuplets as adults.
Puniru is a Kawaii Slime Season 2 Arrives July 6
Fans of the romantic comedy Puniru is a Kawaii Slime can look forward to its second season, which will begin streaming on Crunchyroll on July 6 at 3:00 a.m. PDT. This season will be available worldwide, excluding Japan and Korea. The first season premiered in October 2024, and Crunchyroll also streamed it as it aired.
The series follows the story of Kotarō and his slime creation, Puniru, who transforms into a beautiful young lady after seven years. Sumire Uesaka joins the cast as Gelee, a mysterious character who claims to be “the perfect AI.” The manga by Maedakun, which the anime adapts, is serialized in Shogakukan’s “Shūkan Coro Coro Comics” online publication.
Tougen Anki Anime Slated for July 11 Release
The highly anticipated anime adaptation of Ryō Hiromatsu’s Tougen Anki: Dark Demon of Paradise manga will also be available on Crunchyroll, starting July 11 at 8:30 a.m. PDT. This dark fantasy series will be streamable worldwide, with the exception of Japan and China.
Tougen Anki tells the tale of Shiki Ichinose, who suddenly discovers his Oni lineage after an unexpected attack by Momotaro. This revelation propels Shiki into a journey to uncover his destiny and confront the Oni residing within him, initiating a new generation of dark heroics centered on the conflict between Oni and Momotaro descendants. The anime stars Kazuki Ura as Shiki Ichinose and Hiroshi Kamiya as Naito Mudano. Toshiyuki Sone is directing the anime at White Fox. The manga launched in Akita Publishing’s Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine in June 2020.
