Production and Storyline
Princession Orchestra is a Japanese anime television series created by Aria Entertainment and King Records, and produced by Silver Link. The original concept is attributed to Akifumi Kaneko and Noriyasu Agematsu, known for their work on the Senki Zesshō Symphogear franchise. Shin Oonuma directs the series, with Manta Aisora as the main writer. Elements Garden is responsible for the music composition.
The narrative of Princession Orchestra unfolds in Alicepia, a mysterious country that has existed since ancient times. This magical world, connected to a video-sharing website called Alicepia Channel in the human world, was once a peaceful home to its inhabitants, the Alicepians. However, their tranquility is threatened by the appearance of mysterious monsters known as Jamaock. The story follows “princesses” who possess the power of song in their hearts, even in the face of danger, as they strive to protect Alicepia. A unique aspect of the series is that the voice cast members perform new renditions of songs within each episode’s recording sessions, rather than using pre-recorded tracks.
