The highly anticipated TV anime adaptation of Kocha Agasawa’s romantic comedy manga, “You and I Are Polar Opposites” (Seihantaina Kimi to Boku), has revealed a new trailer, its main cast, and additional staff members. The series is slated to premiere in January 2026, with Crunchyroll set to stream the series as it airs.
Main Cast Revealed for Beloved Characters
The lead roles in “You and I Are Polar Opposites” have been officially announced, bringing the beloved characters to life. Sayumi Suzushiro, known for her role as Nijika Ijichi in BOCCHI THE ROCK!, will voice Suzuki. Shogo Sakata, who played Karin Sasaki in Fire Force, is cast as Tani. Both actors have expressed their enthusiasm for their respective roles.
Suzuki is characterized as an energetic girl who tends to follow the crowd, while Tani is depicted as a quiet boy who readily expresses his thoughts. The story explores their contrasting personalities and the developing relationship between them.
