Production Team and Animation Studio Changes
Record of Ragnarok Season 3 will see some changes in its main staff. Koichi Hatsumi, known for his work on Tokyo Revengers, is directing the anime. Yasuharu Takanashi, who composed the music for the previous seasons, will return in the same role.
The animation production for Season 3 will be handled by Yumeta Company × Maru Animation. Yumeta Company had previously assisted with Season 1 and was co-credited for animation production in Season 2, while Graphinica, the studio involved in the first two seasons, is not credited for the third.
The Continuing Saga
The Record of Ragnarok anime continues the epic saga of 13 one-on-one battles for the survival of humanity, where gods face off against humans from various historical periods. Season 3 will feature the “fateful seventh battle,” aiming to break the 3-3 tie between the gods and humans. Both the manga’s storyboard artist, Takumi Fukui, and story writer, Shinya Umemura, have expressed their gratitude and excitement for the third season, particularly anticipating the animation of Nikola Tesla’s techniques.
