The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4 has officially premiered, with its English dub now available for streaming on Crunchyroll. The new season, which debuted on July 9, 2025, offers a same-day release for both its subtitled and dubbed versions, allowing fans to immediately dive into Naofumi’s continued journey.

The English dub features a returning cast for many of the beloved characters, ensuring continuity for the series’ dedicated fanbase.

Production Details

Studio Kinema Citrus is once again producing the animation for Season 4, with Hitoshi Haga returning as director from the third season. Keigo Koyanagi oversees the series scripts, while Franziska van Wulfen, Sana Komatsu, and Masahiro Suwa are the character designers, all returning from the previous season. Kevin Penkin returns to compose the music, joined by sub-composers Alfredo Sirica and Natalie Jeffreys. The new season is expected to have a total of 12 episodes.
