Yen Press has announced a slate of new acquisitions at Anime Expo 2025, including three fresh manga series and an art book dedicated to the popular light novel series Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian. These new titles are anticipated to begin releasing in December 2025.

Even a Replica Can Fall in Love
This manga adaptation of Harunadon’s light novel series, with art by Momose Hanada, explores a poignant tale of identity and emotion. The story centers on a replica girl created to take the place of her human counterpart. Her existence changes when she falls in love, prompting her to adopt a distinct appearance to differentiate herself to the boy she cares for.
Demon Lord 2099 (3-in-1 Omnibus)
Penned by Yutaka Sakurai with art by Daigo Murasaki and original concept by Kureta, Demon Lord 2099 is a cyberpunk fantasy epic. This omnibus edition collects the story of the fearsome Demon Lord Veltol, who awakens five centuries after his defeat to find himself in a high-tech, neon-lit Shinjuku where magic and machinery coexist. His quest to reclaim power in this new world forms the core of the narrative.
Divine Incursions
Based on Oumi Kifuru’s light novels, with manga art by Kouya Ashitaka, Divine Incursions is a gripping supernatural mystery. The plot follows Katagishi of the Divine Incursions Special Investigations Department as he investigates bizarre phenomena, including massive, otherworldly body parts falling from the sky and corpses discovered without their internal organs.
“Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian” Receives Dedicated Art Book
Fans of the light novel series Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian can look forward to Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian: Momoco’s Art Book. Illustrated by Momoco, this full-color collection showcases Alisa Mikhailovna Kujou through exquisite artwork from volumes 1–8 of the light novels. The art book also features promotional artwork, chibi illustrations, and an exclusive short story written by the original author, Sunsunsun. The light novel series has inspired an anime adaptation, with its first season premiering in July 2024 and a second season set for 2026.
