Square Enix Manga & Books has announced a sweeping expansion of its English-language print releases for Spring 2026, unveiling seven new manga series and three major game-related books. These titles, set to be published under the Square Enix Manga & Books imprint, were revealed during the company’s panel at Anime Expo 2025. Pre-orders for many of these releases will be available through major booksellers, including Penguin Random House, with some already listed on the Square Enix Books website.

A Starlit Darkness, Vol. 1
Leading the new manga announcements is A Starlit Darkness, Vol. 1 (Naraku no Hoshi) by Yū Toyota, the creator of Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!. This psychological drama is set in early 20th century Japan and follows Subaru Karasuma, a struggling writer contemplating ending his life due to debt. His path takes a turn when he encounters Geppo Yagira, a renowned novelist, and finds himself drawn into a deepening darkness. Betrothed to a Fox Demon, Vol. 1
Slated for an April 2026 release with an MSRP of $12.99 USD, Betrothed to a Fox Demon, Vol. 1 (Kyōganeke no Hanayome) by Anju Hino introduces a supernatural marriage entangled with a dark secret. The story centers on Kuro Kyogane, the head of an exorcist clan, who reluctantly agrees to an arranged marriage with the seemingly perfect Fuyu.
