Udon Entertainment has officially announced that it will be publishing Hayato Aoki’s Macross Frontier (also known as Macross F) manga in English, marking the first time the series will be available in this language. The news was confirmed during the Bigwest Macross Panel at Anime Expo.
The English release of the Macross Frontier manga is slated for 2026. The manga, which consists of five volumes, was originally serialized in Kadokawa’s Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine from 2008 to 2010. Esteemed translator Zack Davisson is handling the English translation of the series.
This upcoming publication will allow Macross fans in English-speaking regions to experience the Macross Frontier story in its manga format, which has previously been unavailable.
In addition to the manga release, the panel at Anime Expo also revealed that the Macross Delta television series and films, as well as the Macross Frontier television series and movies, are scheduled for Blu-ray Disc release in North America via Anime Limited. Bigwest also plans to stream the first episodes of Macross 7, Macross Frontier, and Macross Delta on YouTube.
