SNK has released new game previews for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, showcasing Ken Masters from the Street Fighter series as an upcoming free DLC guest character. These previews provide the first in-game look at how Ken will appear in the distinctive art style of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.

The character reveal confirms Ken will be joining the roster in Summer 2025 as part of Season Pass 1, with Chun-Li expected to follow in Winter 2025. This crossover reciprocates Street Fighter 6‘s inclusion of Fatal Fury‘s Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui as guest characters.

The previews demonstrate Ken’s moveset, which largely retains his classic abilities such as Shoryuken, Hadoken, and Tatsumaki Senpu-kyaku, alongside newer moves seen in Street Fighter 6, like the Dragonlash Kick. His appearance in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves uses his modern “hobo” look from Street Fighter 6, reflecting his story arc where he is on the run. However, players will also have the option to select his iconic classic red gi as an alternate outfit.

In addition to his gameplay, Ken will have new original stories within Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. His Arcade Mode will depict his first meeting with Terry Bogard, serving as a prologue to their future encounters. Furthermore, in the single-player RPG mode “EOST,” players will follow Ken as he investigates a shadowy figure influencing the people of South Town.

The game’s developers at SNK have put significant effort into integrating Ken into Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, ensuring his core character remains true to his roots while adapting to the game’s mechanics, including the new REV System. The previews also hinted at a new stage, reminiscent of Ryu’s classic temple castle stage from Street Fighter II.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is set to be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles. Previous previews for the game have highlighted its unique art style, the innovative REV System, and other robust battle mechanics designed to appeal to both new and veteran fighting game players. The game also features two distinct control schemes to cater to different playstyles and will include crossplay and rollback netcode for online matches.
