The “See You Tomorrow at the Food Court” anime has announced two additional voice cast members: Rina Hidaka as Yamada and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Takizawa. These new characters are slated to appear in the third episode of the series, which premiered on July 7 in Japan.

Expanding the Voice Cast

Rina Hidaka will lend her voice to the character Yamada, while Yoshitsugu Matsuoka takes on the role of Takizawa. Their addition expands the previously revealed cast, which includes Hiyori Miyazaki as Wada and Yoshino Aoyama as Yamamoto, the two main protagonists. Saori Hayami and Jun Fukuyama were also previously announced as Saito and Duke Abel, respectively.

Production Details and Premiere

The anime adaptation of Shinichirō Nariie’s manga, “See You Tomorrow at the Food Court” (also known as Food Court de, Mata Ashita.), officially debuted on July 7 on Tokyo MX and other networks. The series is set to have six episodes.

The animation is being handled by Studio Atelier Pontdarc. Kazuomi Koga is directing the series, with Jukki Hanada overseeing the series scripts. Kyuta Sakai is responsible for character design and serves as chief animation director, while Kana Utatane is composing the music. Jin Aketagawa is the sound director. Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs.

About “See You Tomorrow at the Food Court”

The original manga by Shinichiro Nariie began as a Twitter comic in October 2019 before being serialized on Kadokawa’s Comic Newtype in March 2020. Yen Press publishes the manga in English and describes the story as centering on two unlikely friends, Wada and Yamamoto. Wada appears to be a quiet rich girl but is a mobile game enthusiast, while Yamamoto, an intimidating lone wolf, has a fondness for urban legends and YouTubers. The series explores their daily after-school meetings at a food court where they can truly be themselves.
