Series Background
Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill is based on the light novel series written by Ren Eguchi and illustrated by Masa. The story follows Tsuyoshi Mukouda, an ordinary salaryman who is accidentally summoned to a magical realm. While he isn’t a hero, his unique skill, “Online Grocery,” allows him to order modern food and ingredients, which he uses to cook and enjoy his life in this new world with his legendary magical beast familiars. The original light novels began serialization on the “Shosetsuka ni Narō” website in 2016, and Overlap publishes the print versions. J-Novel Club licenses both the light novel series and its manga adaptation in English.
