Crunchyroll has officially announced the English dub cast for the second season of the popular romantic comedy anime, A Couple of Cuckoos, confirming its premiere on Tuesday, July 22. The announcement includes both returning voice actors and new additions to the cast.
Returning and New English Dub Cast Members
Several familiar voices will reprise their roles, bringing the beloved characters of A Couple of Cuckoos back to life for English-speaking audiences. Nicholas Andrew Louie returns as Nagi Umino, Lindsay Sheppard as Erika Amano, AmaLee as Hiro Segawa, and Bryn Apprill as Sachi Umino.
A new character, Ai Mochizuki, will be voiced by Bao the Whale, while Michelle Rojas will voice Young Nagi.

Season 2 Premiere and Production Details
The second season of A Couple of Cuckoos initially premiered in Japan on July 8 on Tokyo MX and other streaming services like ABEMA and d Anime Store. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime globally and also hosted a premiere screening at Anime Expo on July 3.
This season features a mostly new staff and a new animation studio, Okuruto Noboru. Masakazu Hishida is the new director, with Kyoko Chika as the new character designer. Jou Aoba (a penname for Hishida) is overseeing the series scripts, and Rei Ishizuka returns to compose the music.
The anime is based on the romantic comedy manga by Miki Yoshikawa, which began serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2020. The first television anime season premiered in April 2022.
The narrative continues the romantic entanglements of Nagi Umino, a high school student who was switched at birth and finds himself in an arranged marriage with Erika Amano, who happens to be the daughter of his birth parents.
