The August issue of Square Enix’s Gangan Joker magazine has announced that Hiroumi Aoi’s manga, Kemono no Ō Ma no Sekai Reconquest, will conclude in its next chapter. This marks the end of the action and fantasy series that debuted in February 2024.

The Journey of Kemono no Ō Ma no Sekai Reconquest

Kemono no Ō Ma no Sekai Reconquest, also known by its alternative titles like World’s Re-Conquest of the Beast Oh-ma, began its serialization in Square Enix’s Gangan Joker magazine in February 2024. The manga is categorized under action and fantasy genres. While details about its plot are not extensively available in summaries, it has been noted to feature elements such as animal boys/girls, beastmen, and an overpowered male lead, hinting at its adventurous and fantastical narrative. As of June 2025, the series had three volumes in its country of origin.

Hiroumi Aoi’s Previous Works

Hiroumi Aoi is also known for the manga series Shibuya Goldfish (Shibuya Kingyo). Shibuya Goldfish launched in Gangan Joker in September 2016 and concluded in April 2021, with Square Enix publishing its 11th and final volume in June 2021. Yen Press has licensed Shibuya Goldfish for English release. Aoi’s bibliography includes a total of 11 books, with their first book published in June 2018 and their latest in September 2022. Beyond these two notable series, Hiroumi Aoi has contributed to the manga industry as both a story and art creator.
