The 60th chapter of Daiju Yanauchi’s high school rugby manga, One For All, announced on Thursday that the series will conclude in just two more chapters. This marks the imminent end for the sports drama that began serialization in late 2023.
The Rugby Journey of One For All Nears its End
One For All centers on Arashi, a passionate first-year high school student who gained admission through a rugby scholarship. Calling himself “the man who stirs up a storm,” Arashi’s journey revolves around uniting a diverse group of “peculiar problem children” to form a high school rugby team. Their ultimate goal is to reach the prestigious Hanazono Rugby Stadium, the venue for Japan’s National High School Rugby Tournament. The manga blends action, comedy, and sports themes with elements of school life and delinquents, catering to a seinen demographic.
The series initially launched in Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine in December 2023. It later transitioned to the YanMaga Web website on February 15 earlier this year, where it has continued its run. Kodansha released the manga’s seventh compiled book volume on July 4, 2025.
Daiju Yanauchi’s Legacy in Manga

His most notable work prior to One For All is Gang King, which was serialized in Shonengahosha’s Young King magazine from 2003 to 2013. Gang King later switched publishers to Kodansha in 2016, moving between Magazine Special, Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine, and Evening before concluding in April 2021 with a total of 37 compiled volumes. Kodansha USA Publishing has been releasing Gang King in English, with the 30th volume published in June 2025. Yanauchi also launched a new manga in April 2025, indicating his continued prolific output in the industry.
