Yen Press announced on Friday its acquisition of several new manga and light novel series, with titles such as Kei Ichikawa’s A Long & Short Love Story and Dowman Sayman’s Dungeons That Surely Slaughter Adventurers headlining the upcoming releases set for February 2026. The publisher’s Ize Press label will also launch print editions of various webtoons in the same month.
Key Manga Acquisitions Highlight Diverse Genres

From creator Kei Ichikawa, A Long & Short Love Story introduces readers to Ibuki and Kippei, childhood friends and next-door neighbors whose relationship takes an unexpected turn after a kiss. The series explores the evolving dynamics between the two as they navigate their feelings for each other.
Dungeons That Surely Slaughter Adventurers
Dowman Sayman’s Dungeons That Surely Slaughter Adventurers presents a darker, more satirical take on the popular dungeon fantasy genre. It follows Eine and Nacht, two reincarnated individuals stuck as dungeon staff who decide to turn their workplace into a deadly deathtrap for inconsiderate adventurers seeking fame and fortune.

Yen Press’s Ize Press label, which focuses on webtoons, also announced print editions for three series in February 2026:

These announcements follow other recent licensing news from Yen Press, including seventeen new titles slated for August 2025 and multiple additions from Anime Expo 2025 for release in December 2025 and January 2026.
