Ken Takahashi is directing the anime, with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu handling the series composition. Yōko Satō is responsible for character designs, and music is being composed by Diosta and High Speed Boy.

The anime is based on the fantasy light novel series written by Alto and illustrated by Yuunagi, which began as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro site in October 2020. Kodansha later acquired and published the light novel series, with a manga adaptation by Yuki Monji also currently serialized.
