Launched on November 16, 2011, it emerged from the merger of two other seinen manga magazines, Business Jump and Super Jump, in response to the evolving landscape of the seinen manga market and changing reader tastes. Targeting “liberated adults,” Grand Jump is published twice a month, typically on the first and third Wednesdays, and features around 300 pages per issue.
Grand Jump Mucha, the magazine where “Koko wa Kazoku ga Kieru Machi” began its serialization, is a rebranded version of Grand Jump Premium. This sister publication often hosts series before they potentially move to the main Grand Jump magazine.
