The highly anticipated anime adaptation of Masuo Kinoko’s light novel series, “A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai” (Sozai Saishuka no Isekai Ryokōki), is slated for an early streaming debut in Japan on September 29, 2025. The announcement comes alongside the reveal of its ending theme song, a new promotional trailer, and two additional voice cast members, building excitement for its full television premiere in October.

The series will begin streaming in Japan on U-NEXT on September 29 at 24:30 JST, effectively making it September 30 at 12:30 a.m. JST. Following its digital launch, the anime will make its television debut on Tokyo MX and BS11 on October 6 at 24:00 JST (effectively October 7 at 12:00 a.m. JST). Crunchyroll has confirmed it will stream the series worldwide, excluding Asia, with specific scheduling details to be announced.

New Trailer Highlights Ending Theme “Mugen Trip”

A fresh promotional video has been released, offering viewers a glimpse into the fantastical world of “A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai” and previewing the anime’s ending theme song. The rock duo Nakigoto is set to perform the closing track titled “Mugen Trip.” Earlier, the VTuber unit Nornis was announced to perform the opening theme song, “Prologue.”

The trailer showcases more of the animation from Tatsunoko Production and SynergySP, the studios behind the series. Yoshinori Odaka is directing the anime, with Gigaemon Ichikawa handling series composition and Mayumi Watanabe designing the characters.

Expanding the Cast: Clayston and Pnir Join the Adventure

The latest update introduces two more voice actors to the growing ensemble. Toshiyuki Morikawa will lend his voice to Clayston, a formidable lizardman warrior who is a member of the adventurers’ guild “Ewropa.” Joining him is Satomi Satou as Pnir, also known by her true name Hofvalpnir, a divine beast identified as an Ancient Horse.

These new additions will join the previously announced main cast members:

  • Nobunaga Shimazaki as Takeru Kamishiro
  • Ayasa Itō as Bee
  • Makoto Koichi as Brolite

The Story of Takeru Kamishiro in Madeus

“A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai” follows Takeru Kamishiro, an ordinary office worker whose life takes an extraordinary turn when he is unexpectedly summoned to another world named Madeus. This new realm is characterized by swords and magic, and Takeru finds himself equipped with a unique set of “cheat skills.” Beyond enhanced physical strength and impressive magical abilities, Takeru possesses the invaluable power to “search” for rare and valuable items. With these newfound talents, he embarks on a grand adventure in his new isekai life.

The original light novel series by Masuo Kinoko launched on the AlphaPolis platform in December 2017 and has since released 16 volumes. It has garnered significant acclaim, winning both the Grand Prize and the Readers’ Choice Award at the 9th AlphaPolis Fantasy Novel Awards. A manga adaptation illustrated by Tomozo has also been in serialization, with eight volumes published to date. The entire series, including digital editions, boasts over 1.95 million copies in circulation.
