Monster Strike: Deadverse Reloaded will begin its broadcast run on October 21, JST. The series is expected to run for one cour, which typically translates to a quarter of a year. This move to television signifies a broader reach for the popular mobile game adaptation.

New Key Visual Details

The newly released key visual features four characters and carries the evocative phrase, “We crossed paths at the end of the world.” This visual provides a glimpse into the aesthetic and tone of the upcoming series, building anticipation among fans.

The Monster Strike Franchise Legacy

The Monster Strike anime is based on MIXI’s popular mobile gacha game, a “Pull hunting RPG” that first launched in Japan in 2013 for iOS and Android devices. The game has garnered over 55 million downloads worldwide. While an English version was available, it ceased service in 2017.

Prior to Deadverse Reloaded, the franchise saw several anime adaptations, including the Monster Strike the Animation ONA series, which debuted in October 2015 and ran for three seasons. The franchise also includes several anime short films and three anime movies, with the most recent being Monster Strike the Movie: Lucifer – Zetsubō no Yoake in 2020. Crunchyroll previously streamed the original Monster Strike anime.
