The highly anticipated anime adaptation of “May I Ask for One Final Thing?” (Saigo ni Hitotsu dake Onegai Shitemo Yoroshii Deshō ka) has unveiled additional cast members and crucial early streaming information ahead of its October 3, 2025 premiere. Fans can look forward to an advanced debut for the first two episodes on Amazon Prime Video in Japan, with Crunchyroll handling global streaming.

New Cast Member Joins the Ranks

Aniplex announced a new voice actor joining the ensemble during the Aniplex Online Fest event. Sally Amaki has been cast as Rosalia, a friend of the protagonist Scarlet at the Royal Academy. This addition expands the previously revealed cast, which includes:

  • Asami Seto as Scarlet El Vandimion
  • Wataru Katoh as Julius von Paristan
  • Shōya Ishige as Leonardo El Vandimion
  • Miyu Tomita as Nanaka
  • Kazuki Ura as Sigurd Forgrave
  • Taito Ban as Kyle von Paristan
  • Ai Kakuma as Terenezza Hopkins

Early Streaming and Broadcast Schedule

The “May I Ask for One Final Thing?” anime is set to officially premiere on October 3, 2025, airing on Japanese television networks such as Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV at 12:00 a.m. JST (effectively, October 4).

For international viewers, Crunchyroll has secured streaming rights for the series across North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS territories.

Amazon Prime Video Japan’s Exclusive Early Access

In a significant announcement for Japanese viewers, Amazon Prime Video will offer an exclusive early streaming of the first two episodes on October 3. Following this initial debut, Amazon Prime Video will continue to stream new episodes a week in advance of their television broadcast in Japan.

An advanced screening event with cast members is also scheduled for September 28 at United Cinemas Toyosu.

The Story of Scarlet, the “Mad Dog Princess”

The anime adapts Nana Ōtori’s light novel series, illustrated by Satsuki, and its manga adaptation by Sora Hoonoki. The plot centers on Scarlet El Vandimion, a noblewoman whose engagement to the kingdom’s second prince, Kyle, is suddenly and publicly annulled at a ball. Falsely accused of bullying and labeled a “Villainess,” Scarlet has endured years of mistreatment. However, reaching her breaking point, she unleashes her true, formidable personality, earning her the moniker “Mad Dog Princess.”

The series promises a thrilling revenge story as Scarlet confronts high society with both her intellect and combat skills, attracting the attention of the enigmatic Crown Prince Julius von Pallistan.

Production Team Behind the Adaptation

Liden Films Kyoto Studio is handling the animation production, with Kazuya Sakamoto (known for KAGINADO) directing the series. Deko Akao (Tearmoon Empire) is in charge of series composition, while Eriko Haga (Gods’ Games We Play sub-character design) is designing the characters. The music is being composed by Hinako Tsubakiyama (Sugar Apple Fairy Tale). Satoshi Motoyama is serving as the Sound Director.

The opening theme song, “Senjō no Hana” (Flower of the Battlefield), is performed by CHICO with HoneyWorks, and the ending theme is “Inferior” by Shiyui.

With its intriguing premise, a talented cast, and experienced production team, “May I Ask for One Final Thing?” is set to be a notable entry in the Fall 2025 anime lineup.
