The upcoming second season will delve into the “Serizawa Assassination Arc” from Tsuyoshi Yasuda’s original historical manga, “The Blue Wolves of Mibu.” This arc focuses on the historical assassination of Serizawa Kamo, the original lead commander of the Mibu Roshigumi (later known as the Shinsengumi). The promotional video offers a glimpse into the dramatic events and heightened tensions that will define this pivotal storyline.

The newly released promotional video not only showcases critical moments from the forthcoming arc but also features new theme songs. The second cour’s opening theme is “OOKAMI” by Umeda Cypher, while the ending theme is “Fragment” by osage.
