A new special promotional video (PV) has been released for the highly anticipated anime film, Aikatsu! x PriPara THE MOVIE -Deai no Kiseki!- (The Miracle of Encounters!), offering fans a fresh look at the crossover event. The movie, which celebrates the 10th anniversary of both popular idol franchises, is slated for a nationwide release in Japan in Fall 2025.

The Aikatsu! and PriPara franchises, both iconic in the idol anime genre, are collaborating for a unique cinematic experience. This upcoming film marks a significant milestone, commemorating “10 years of love” and “10 years of gratitude” from the creators to their dedicated fanbase. Unlike previous recap or compilation films, Aikatsu! x PriPara THE MOVIE -Deai no Kiseki!- will feature a completely original story and brand-new live performances, promising fresh content for long-time followers.
Key Characters and Returning Voice Cast
The new trailer highlights the central roles of Akari Ozora from Aikatsu! and Laala Manaka from PriPara. Shino Shimoji reprises her role as Akari Ozora, while Himika Akaneya returns to voice Laala Manaka, bringing familiar voices to the beloved characters as they embark on this crossover adventure.
Production Team and Studios
The collaborative film boasts a talented production team. Takahiro Okawa is directing the movie, with Rie Tsuchiya penning the scenario. Character designs are handled by Hiroko Yaguchi and Masaharu Hara. Tatsunoko Production is in charge of the 3DCG animation, ensuring the vibrant idol performances are brought to life with detail.
The project’s planning and production are overseen by BN Pictures, a studio well-versed in both franchises. Distribution for the film will be handled by Bandai Namco Pictures and Avex Pictures.
