The casting news was accompanied by the release of a character visual and trailer for Ibuki, along with a comment from Aoyama herself.
Yoshino Aoyama Takes on Ibuki Tonami Role
Yoshino Aoyama, known for her diverse voice acting roles, is set to portray Ibuki Tonami, a significant character in the “Kamiina Botan, Yoheru Sugata wa Yuri no Hana” series. Ibuki Tonami is depicted as a third-year university student and the dorm supervisor of Botan’s dormitory. She plays a pivotal role in the story as she introduces the titular character, Botan Kamiina, to the world of alcoholic beverages.
Aoyama expressed her honor in lending her voice to the characters, stating, “It’s truly an honor to lend my voice to accompany the lives of Botan and the others, who live within the gently flowing, delicate passage of time.” She also shared her passion and care in recording each line, humorously adding, “and then, of course, I drink! Switching back and forth, between hirezake and shirako… you know, like that! Ahhh!”

Plot Overview
