The Story of Hiroshi Nohara’s Lunch Style
The spinoff manga, created by Yōichi Tsukahara, delves into the everyday life of Hiroshi Nohara, Shin-chan’s father, as he navigates the challenges of being a 35-year-old salaryman. With limited time and money, Hiroshi’s lunchtime choices become central to the narrative, offering relatable insights into workplace woes, such as impromptu treats for seniors or shortened breaks due to sudden workloads. The manga, which initially launched in Futabasha’s Manga Town magazine in December 2015, later moved to the Manga Crayon Shin-chan website in January 2024 after the magazine ceased publication. This anime adaptation promises to bring the humorous and heartfelt culinary adventures of Hiroshi Nohara to a wider audience.
