The manga adaptation of Rakku Yasahashi’s light novel series, The False Saint’s Exile (titled Watashi wa Nise Seijo Rashii node, Kyūtei o Dete Ringoku de Kurashimasu in Japan), will publish its final chapter on October 27. The conclusion will appear in the November issue of Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine.
A Brief Run for the Isekai-Fantasy Adaptation
The announcement marks the end of a relatively short run for the manga, which first launched in Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh in January 2024. Kadokawa has been actively publishing the series in English on its BookWalker Global platform, with the first compiled book volume released in July 2024 and the second on March 17.
Marimuu is credited with the art for the manga adaptation, while Rakku Yasahashi is the original story author, and Komochi Mochizuki handled the original character designs.
Understanding the Plot of The False Saint’s Exile
The series follows Tiara, a young woman who possesses special healing powers and has served as a “Saint” in the Imperial Court of Lerys since childhood. Despite her tireless efforts, she finds herself accused of being a “false saint” by the second princess, Isabelle, and is subsequently exiled.
Far from being dismayed, Tiara embraces her newfound freedom, viewing her expulsion as an opportunity to live a life of her own. Her journey takes an unexpected turn when she reunites with Alex, a friend who reveals himself to be the prince and strongest dragon knight of the neighboring kingdom of Ekwald. He invites her to his land, marking the beginning of Tiara’s new, unburdened life. The story is categorized under genres such as shojo, adaptation, drama, fantasy, magic, romance, and slice of life.
