Manga artist Bunta Kinami is set to launch a new series titled “Make Succu Lilia no Biminaru Yoru” (Losing Succubus Lilia’s Delicious Night) in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comp Ace magazine. The debut is scheduled for October 24, as revealed in the magazine’s November issue. This “immoral food manga” promises a unique premise, following a university student who finds himself attacked by a succubus.

A New Culinary and Supernatural Saga Begins

The upcoming manga marks Kinami’s latest venture into serialized storytelling, bringing a blend of supernatural elements and what is described as “immoral food” to readers. Fans are eager to see how these intriguing themes will intertwine in the narrative of a university student’s unexpected encounter with a succubus. The specific details surrounding the “immoral food” aspect are still largely under wraps, adding to the anticipation for the series’ debut.

Bunta Kinami’s Established Career in Manga

Bunta Kinami has a notable history in the manga industry, having worked on several diverse projects. Born in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, Kinami embarked on a professional manga career after discovering a shared passion for drawing among friends.

Previous Works and Adaptations

One of Kinami’s well-known works is “RWBY: The Official Manga,” which ran on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ website from December 2018 to June 2020. This adaptation of the popular web series by Rooster Teeth Productions was compiled into three volumes and published by Shueisha, with Viz Media also releasing it as part of its Shonen Jump subscription and in print.

Another significant title in Kinami’s bibliography is “Alice-san Chi no Iroribata” (Beside the Hearth at Alice-san’s House). This manga was serialized in Ultra Jump from October 2020 to March 2023, concluding with its fourth and final volume in May 2023. “Alice-san Chi no Iroribata” even received a live-action adaptation in January of the current year, highlighting the appeal of Kinami’s storytelling.

Distinctive Storytelling and Art Style

Kinami’s previous works demonstrate a versatility in genre and narrative approach. “RWBY: The Official Manga” showcased action and adventure within a fantasy setting, while “Alice-san Chi no Iroribata” explored heartwarming slice-of-life themes around a traditional Japanese hearth. With “Make Succu Lilia no Biminaru Yoru,” Kinami is set to delve into another distinct concept, combining the supernatural with a culinary twist. This new project is expected to further solidify Kinami’s reputation for engaging narratives and unique artistic vision.

Anticipation for “Losing Succubus Lilia’s Delicious Night”

The upcoming launch on October 24 is generating excitement among manga enthusiasts. The concept of an “immoral food manga” coupled with a succubus encounter suggests a series that will likely offer both humor and potentially provocative themes. Readers can look forward to discovering the culinary and supernatural journey that Bunta Kinami has crafted in “Make Succu Lilia no Biminaru Yoru” within the pages of Monthly Comp Ace.
